Harold Lindsey Miller

Mr. Harold Lindsey Miller, 63 of Lexington, NC a loving husband, father and a friend to all passed away Monday, March 16, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Miller was born October 4, 1945 in Davidson County to the late Lacy Jacob Miller, Sr. and Ollieree Byerly Miller. He was employed with Liggett and Platt Inc. and was a member of the AM Vets and the VFW. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Raymond and Lacy Miller, Jr. Surviving is his wife; Gloria Rackham Miller of the home; a son; Michael Miller; a sister; Rosemary Smith; two brothers; Clifton Miller, Darrell Miller, his twin a number of nieces and nephews and Buster, his dog. The Family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 pm Wednesday, March 18 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel and at all other times at the home of Rosemary Smith, 315 Conrad Sowers Road, Lexington, NC. The Funeral Service will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, March 19 at Midway United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. John Woods. Mr. Miller will lie in state from 1:30 to 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or to Hospice of Davidson County, 524 S. State Street, Lexington, NC 27295.
