He grew up in Lewisville and graduated from Southwest High School class of 1957. Harold loved his family, friends, and his church. He was a member of Union United Methodist Church his entire life. He had read the Bible from beginning to end many times and always had faith telling Susie, “We are going to be ok.” Harold was a member of the West Bend Masonic Lodge #434 for over 50 years. He had a career with the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System for over 30 years in the Grounds Department. Harold also farmed during his life and loved having a huge garden with many good vegetables to share. He enjoyed being outside on his tractor, fishing, or listening to bluegrass music. Harold always had a smile on his face and was ready to joke or tease with his wonderful personality. He was always ready and willing to help anyone that asked for a favor. Harold will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Surviving is a cousin, Susie Seats Edwards (Randy); aunts, Jackie Seats, Frances Seats Sisk, and Faye Seats; other cousins, Carolyn Disher (Johnny), Norma Jean Harbin, Judy Williard (Mike), Kathy Triplette (Kim), Phil Seats (Lissa), Bonnie Joyner (David), Tanya Pontillo (Greg), Tammy Boyd (Tom) and William Seats.
