Harold McGee Hoover, Jr.

Kernersville - Mr. Harold McGee Hoover, Jr., age 78, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at his home in Winston Salem. He was born February 20, 1937 to the late Elizabeth Evans Hoover and Harold McGee Hoover, Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, Christopher Stevens

Surviving are; his wife Peggy Lankford Hoover, five children, Sandra Barton, Carolyn Bowman, Eddie ""Face"" Lawson, Sharon Holt, and Billy Hoover, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Joe and Ron Hoover.

A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel, with Spencer Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
