Harold Webster Hicks

Harold W. Hicks, 85, passed away at Clemmons Village in Clemmons, NC on February 27, 2017. Harold was born in Bassett Virginia to Henry C. Hicks and Mary Martin Hicks. He retired from Swift Independent Packing Company after more than 30 years of service. Harold enjoyed a long retirement and most enjoyed spending time with Ruby, his wife of more than 55 years, before her death in January 2017, along with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, father and mother, 4 brothers, and his granddaughter, Courtney Ernest. Survivors include one son Harold Hicks Jr, (wife Annette), Barnesville, GA; one stepson, Richard Ernest, (wife Sharron), Lewisville, NC; one stepdaughter, Karen Bohannon, (Husband Craig), Charlotte, NC; two grandsons, Coleman Hicks, Barnesville, GA; Jonathan Bohannon, Charlotte, NC; three granddaughters; Kirsten Hicks, Barnesville, GA; Nicole Ernest Stowe, Hampstead, NC; Amity Bohannon McNeal, Chillicothe, OH. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2730 Peters Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC.
