HAUSER KING, Mr. Harold James Hauser, 82, of Farmstead Rd. died Thursday September 24, 2009 following an extended illness at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Harold was born in Forsyth County on May 18, 1927 the son of the late Russell and Ella Wall Hauser. He was of the Methodist faith. Harold was a former driver with Mclean Trucking in Winston-Salem with 28 years of service, he then became an owner-operator driving for Landstar - Ranger trucking company and was a member of Teamsters Local #391. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Mattie Lee Hauser, a brother Joe Hauser and two grandchildren Grayson Lee Shoun and Nicholas Caldwell. Surviving is his wife of 32 years JoAnn Womack Hauser, six children Gray Hauser and wife Betty, Faye Fletcher, Mary Lou Harp, Laura Rollins and husband Billy, Robin Caldwell Moore and Donald Caldwell and wife Tracy, nine grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, a sister Rose Bukas and husband Dean, two brothers Wayne Hauser and wife Pat and Roland Hauser and wife Rachel, a sister-in-law Colleen Hauser and his beloved Dog ""Shorty"". Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, September 28, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Lamar Tillman officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery in Tobaccoville. The Hauser family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home. (Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel)
