Harold Gray Hauser

Mr. Harold Gray ""Fat Boy"" Hauser, 68, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born December 28, 1945 in Forsyth Co. the son of the late Harold James Hauser and Mary Goins Hauser. Mr. Hauser was a member of Bannertown Baptist Church in Germanton and was retired from Wake Forest University, Maintenance Department. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend that will be missed deeply by all who knew him. Mr. Hauser is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Betty H. Hauser, three sisters, Faye Fletcher, Mary Lou Harp and Laura Rollins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Bannertown Baptist Church with Pastor Don Charles, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening, Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Bannertown Baptist Church, 2300 Bannertown Church Rd., Germanton, NC 27019. The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff at Forsyth Medical Center for the loving and compassionate care extended to Gray in his time of need.
