Mr. Harold Edwin Grubbs, age 66 passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Grubbs was born in Forsyth County, November 6, 1948 to Robert Samuel and Maxine Wiles Grubbs. He was a member of Bannertown Baptist Church, a United States Army veteran having served during Vietnam, retired from Westinghouse with 30 plus years and was very active in the North Forsyth Little League program in which he served many positions. In addition to his parents Mr. Grubbs was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Talley.
Mr. Grubbs is survived by three sons: Shawn (Paige) Grubbs of Sanford, Shane Grubbs of Kernersville and Shannon ""Bo"" Grubbs of Sanford. Four grandchildren; Taylor, Tory, Olivia, and Emma. One sister, Robin (Jeff) Tuttle of Rural Hall. Four nieces; Tracy, Kelly, Samantha and Ashley.
Funeral services for Mr. Grubbs will be conducted Monday, February 16, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Rev. Don Charles. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 290 of King. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Monday morning from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.
