Hannah Logan Prevette

Mrs. Hannah Logan Prevette, 76, of Winston-Salem, the youngest of nine children, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012. She was born May 6, 1935 in Forsyth County to Louella Miller Logan and George Green Logan. Mrs. Prevette was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked many years at Hanes Hosiery and later retired from Forsyth Country Day School. She approached life with open arms and to know her was to love her. Mrs. Prevette was preceded in death by her son, Hoke Lane Prevette. Surviving are three daughters, Ellen Winters of Winston-Salem, Lisa Prevette Hamlin of Walnut Cove and Suzanne Prevette Canter (Gary) of Rural Hall; six grandchildren, Jennifer Winters, Austin Winters, Jordan Prevette, Ashlan Hamlin, Skylar Gossett and Lyric Canter and one great grandson, Milo Keath Jackson. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
