Gretchen Hills

Gretchen graduated from Susquehanna Township High School in 1997. She furthered her studies at Delaware State University where she majored in Biology and graduated in 2002.

Gretchen was an avid lover of music, dancing, and social media. She was known for being a good listener and encouraging others to better their lives. Gretchen enjoyed people and she made many wonderful lifelong friendships. Gretchen loved watching movies and TV shows with her family.

Since graduating from college Gretchen held many jobs including employment with Lowes Home Improvement, Honda Jet, and Volvo Financial Services.

Gretchen was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles and Isabell Hills, maternal grandparents, Cleveland and Doris Mitchell; aunts, Etta Mitchell, and Dr. Wanda M. Peterson; uncles, Raymond Hills, Cleveland, Bernard Sr., Roland Levi, Larry, and Victor Mitchell; and cousins Christopher Mitchell, Kevin and Michael Hills.

Gretchen leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing: her parents; brother, Greg; sister, Porche Brooks; Godparents, William and Ruth Johnson; adopted grandmother, Helen Bracey; aunt, Vernice Coley; uncles, Michael (Francine) and William (Sonya) Mitchell; special cousin, Gabrielle Smith, and friend, Janelle Harris-Dixon; and a host of other relatives and friends.
