Mr. Gregory Lee White, 51, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015. He was born March 27, 1964 in Forsyth County. Greg graduated from VA Tech in 1987 with a BS in Business Finance. He was a founding partner with Leonard Ryden Burr where he served as President for ten years. Greg was an entrepreneur by nature and had an open heart and a warm smile for everyone. He loved golfing and his dogs. Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, L.H. ""Hode"" White and Madeline Spotts White; a maternal grandmother, Billie Cole McClaugherty. Surviving are his parents, Jack and Brenda White of Pfafftown; brother, Brent White (JoAnn) of Winston-Salem; sister, Jennifer Hagood (Tim) of Charlotte; four nieces and one nephew, Corinne, Henry, Zoe, and Madeline White and Essie Hagood; also surviving is his grandfather, Bill Martin of Princeton, W. VA. A memorial service will be held 2:30 PM Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Centenary United Methodist Church with Rev. Roland Barnhardt and Rev. Craig Ford officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.
