Mr. Gregory Lee White, 51, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015. He was born March 27, 1964 in Forsyth County. Greg graduated from VA Tech in 1987 with a BS in Business Finance. He was a founding partner with Leonard Ryden Burr where he served as President for ten years. Greg was an entrepreneur by nature and had an open heart and a warm smile for everyone. He loved golfing and his dogs. Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, L.H. ""Hode"" White and Madeline Spotts White; a maternal grandmother, Billie Cole McClaugherty. Surviving are his parents, Jack and Brenda White of Pfafftown; brother, Brent White (JoAnn) of Winston-Salem; sister, Jennifer Hagood (Tim) of Charlotte; four nieces and one nephew, Corinne, Henry, Zoe, and Madeline White and Essie Hagood; also surviving is his grandfather, Bill Martin of Princeton, W. VA. A memorial service will be held 2:30 PM Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Centenary United Methodist Church with Rev. Roland Barnhardt and Rev. Craig Ford officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters Services, Inc., 107 Westdale Ave. Winston-Salem, NC 27101 or to the Forsyth Humane Society, 61 Miller St. Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
