Gregory Wayne Sapp, 64, entered his heavenly home on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.  He was born September 1, 1957 in Forsyth County to the late Oliver Osborne Sapp, Jr. and Genevieve Tise Sapp.  Mr. Sapp was a member at Friedberg Moravian Church.  He loved to golf, bowl and watch the Green Bay Packers, Boston Red Sox, and Wake Forest Demon Deacons play.  Preceding him in death was a sister, Melinda Anne Sapp and a step-daughter, Angela Dawn Byers.  Surviving is his wife of 37 years, Annie Sapp; son, Ryan Sapp; step-son, Greg Dickerson; two step-grandchildren, Kendra Dickerson and Austin Dickerson; sister, Karen Noga (David); nephews, Nick Davis, Alex Davis, and Andrew Noga and two nieces, Deborah Noga and Jillian Marshall (Mason); also surviving are a host of extended friends and family.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Friedberg Moravian Church with Rev. Jim Newsome and Rev. Dan Nelson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church graveyard.  The family will receive friends following the graveside in the church.  The family would like to give special thanks to Trellis Supportive Care for their compassion and care.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friedberg Moravian Church, 2178 Friedberg Church Road Winston-Salem, NC 27127 or to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
