Gregory Austin Fishel

Mr. Gregory Austin Fishel, 39 of Stella, NC formerly of Winston-Salem, died Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Fishel was born October 4, 1970 in Forsyth County, the son of Sidney Fishel and the late Ginger Smith Fishel who predeceased him in 2007. Mr. Fishel was a 1989 graduate of North Davidson High School and attended Forsyth Tech. for 2 years. He was an auto mechanic who could fix anything from a moped to a Rolls Royce. For relaxation he rode his Harley and loved Drag Racing. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Charlene Parrish Fishel, daughter, Sara Fishel, father, Sidney Fishel, and grandmother, Pearl Smith. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Larry Horrel and Rev. Greg Hinnant officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
