KIGER RURAL HALL, Gray Kiger 56, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 18, 2009 at his home. Gray was born in Forsyth County on September 19, 1952 the son of Dorothy Vance ""Dot"" Kiger and the late Milton Gray Kiger, Sr. Gray was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church in Rural Hall. He owned and operated Kiger's Furniture Store in Rural Hall and was a 1970 graduate of Parkland High School and a graduate of Gaston Community College. Gray was preceded in death by his father and a nephew Griffin Milton Middleton. Surviving is his mother Dorothy Vance ""Dot"" Kiger of Rural Hall, two sisters Temple Kiger Jones and husband Dan of Boone and Kim Kiger Middleton and husband Ronnie of Rural Hall, two nieces Natalie Jones Keech and husband James and Layla Jones, twin nephews Lucas Griffin Middleton and John Milton Middleton. The Kiger family will receive friends at 1:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2009 in the Fellowship Hall at Kingswood United Methodist Church in Rural Hall. A private graveside service will be conducted at a later date at Rural Hall Memorial Park. In-lieu-of flowers memorial donations are requested to be made to Kingswood UMC, P.O.
