Graham Edgar Reid, Jr.

Graham Edgar Reid, Jr., 92, “Junior” passed away on July 15, 2023, at SECU Hospice Home in Yadkinville. Graham was born on March 9, 1931, to Blanche Angel Reid and Graham Edgar Reid, Sr. in Forsyth County. He attended South Fork School. He retired from RJR after 39 ½ years. He enjoyed quail hunting when he was younger, riding his motorcycle up until 7 weeks ago, and mowing the yard on Thursday so it would look good for the weekend, and wintering in Florida. Graham was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara “Bobbie” Reid. Surviving are his children, Blake Reid (Robin), Randy Reid (Shirley), and Koleata Reid Joyner (Gray); five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday July 19, 2023, at Northwood Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Sewell officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice home. The family would like to thank the nurses on the 6^th floor at Forsyth Medical Center and the staff at SECU Mountain Valley Hospice at Yadkinville for their exceptional and professional care of our Dad.
