Grady Lee Warden

WALNUT COVE Mr. Grady Lee Warden passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 30, 1950 in Forsyth County to the late Dolphus Airy Warden and Sula Mae Edwards Warden. In addition to his parents, Mr. Warden was preceded in death by seven brothers: Buck, Roger, Jimmy, Tommy, Gene, Everette and Roy Warden; and also, three sisters: Joan Warden, Annie Mae Draughn and Wanda Jane Warden. Surviving are his wife, Edna Warden; three children: Kim Poplin (Rick), Ronald Warden (Teresa), and Cindy Wilson; seven grandchildren: Chad, Chastity, Faith, Buddy, Donnie, Heather and Jamie; five sisters: Vicky Bottoms (Larry), Patsy Newman (Johnny), Beulah Whitaker, Louise Blevins and Elvie Cromer. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Gary Styers officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Pinnacle. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the funeral home.
