Grady Ray Price

Kernersville – Mr. Grady Ray Price, 62, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Kernersville Medical Center. He was born on September 17, 1961, in Forsyth County to David Hudson and Nera Landreth Price. He was a retired Engineer with the Kernersville Fire Department. He attended The Way Fellowship and was strong in his faith, and heavily involved in the ministry. Grady loved the fire department and enjoyed the history of the town.

He was a loving husband for 41 years and a devoted father. Family was very important to Grady and he was the first to step up and help care for others as long as his health permitted.

Grady was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Audrey Matherly Price; his daughter, Brandy Michelle Price; one brother, Steve Price (wife, Susan); in-laws, Doug and Mary Walker of Kernersville; three nieces: Casey Hardy, Sarah Ann and Laura Mae Price; and uncle, Grady Ray Price of High Point.

A Celebration to honor Grady’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
