Grady J. Fulk

PFAFFTOWN - Grady J. Fulk, 86, died Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. Grady was born on February 18, 1927 in Forsyth County to the late Cletus and Ethel Cockerham Fulk. Grady was a WWII veteran of the US Navy. He retired from AT & T in 1983, with 35 years of service and was an active member of Pinedale Christian Church. Grady enjoyed the game of golf and loved spending time with his golf buddies. He had an outgoing personality and loved his family, holding a special place in his heart for his grandsons. In addition to his parents, Grady was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jean Fulk. Surviving are one daughter, Pam Witt (husband, Johnny) of Jacksonville, FL; one son, Dale Fulk; three grandsons, Cory Witt, Clay Witt and Andrew Fulk; nieces and nephews, Kelly Landreth, Chris Cash, Thad Fulk, and Debbie Fulk; and one sister, Jo Ann Cash. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2014 at Pinedale Christian Church with Rev. Bob McCaskill officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pinedale Christian Church, 3395 Peters Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
