Grace Williard Snyder

Winston-Salem, NC: Snyder Grace Williard Snyder, 99 of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Health Center. Mrs. Snyder was born February 12, 1912 in Forsyth County to the late Emory Monroe and Carrie Myers Williard. Grace was a member of Union Ridge United Methodist Church and was retired from Food Fair with 34 years of service. Surviving to cherish her memory is her son; Donald Byerly of Clemmons, NC, her daughter; Carolyn Frechette of Elkhart, Indiana, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a sister, Alma Mahaffey of Winston-Salem, two special nieces, Gail Hiatt, Sharon Haas and a nephew, Ken Byerly. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Sunday, November 13 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The Funeral Service will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, November 14 at the Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, officiated by Rev. Gary L. Elrod. Burial will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Park.
