Grace Lou Ellen Hester Everhart

KERNERSVILLE – Mrs. Grace Hester Everhart, 99, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2024, at Kerner Ridge Assisted Living. She was born December 14, 1924, to Edgar Hester and Mary McGee Hester in Forsyth County. Grace had many hobbies including golfing, painting, ceramics, and crocheting. She was a very artistic woman. Grace also was a member of Canaan United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She will be missed dearly.

Grace Everhart is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward J. Everhart; a brother, Robert Edwin Hester; and one sister, Shelby.

Grace is survived by her daughter, Linda Lambert (Fuzzy); two grandchildren, Ellen Crotts and Jason Todd; five great grandchildren, Justin Hill (Kristen), Amanda Todd, Nick Todd (Catelin), Misty Todd, Cody Benge; two sisters, Ila Mabe and Faye Fincher; one brother, Billie Gray Hester; and many nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 14, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at Canaan United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
