Mrs. Grace Bulgier Lichey, 85, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021. She was born March 26, 1936, in Jefferson County, TX to the late Chester Dixie Bulgier and Grace Ware Bulgier. Grace taught elementary and ESL students for 20 plus years. She was an avid reader who was a member of a book club and enjoyed reading her Bible every day. Grace also loved gardening, square dancing, and was known as a great seamstress. She was a godly woman who was active in her church, Crossroads Assembly of God. In addition to her parents, Grace is preceded in death by two brothers, Chester Bulgier and Larry Bulgier; sister, Ann Stanley; and son-in-law, Timothy McGhin. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Curtis Allen Lichey; sister, Susan McGuyer; three daughters: Janet McGhin, Ruthanne Cassidy (Basel), and Melissa Lawrence; nine grandchildren: April (Jason), Rachel (Michael), Holly (Charlie), Meredith, Blake, Canyon, Kelly, Savannah (Blake), and Morgan; and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 14th, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Mike Brown officiating.
