Mrs. Grace Rabuck Herb, 85, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, October 20, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born August 9, 1923 in Dauphin County, PA to Walter Grover and Jennie Daniels Rabuck. Mrs. Herb was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Pennsylvania. She has been a resident of Winston-Salem for 39 years, and was a member of the Winston-Salem Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles W. Herb; a brother, Robert Rabuck; and a sister, Margaret ""Peggy"" Rabuck Eagle. Surviving are one daughter, Jane Beaver and husband Richard of California; one son, Ronald Herb and wife Lydia of Lewisville; eight grandchildren, Christopher Keller, Kathleen Keller, Jennifer Herb, Rebecca Williams, Richard Beaver, Ashley Cook, Greyson Herb, and Langston Herb; seven great grandchildren; and former daughter-in-law, Claudia Martin and husband Ron Martin. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25th at Dimon Funeral Home in Williamstown, PA. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Williamstown. The family will also receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 23rd at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Flowers should be sent to Dimon Funeral Home in Pennsylvania since burial will occur there. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060. A special thanks to Joyce for her care and dedication to Mrs. Herb during her illness.
