Grace Marie Grubbs Caudle

Mrs. Grace Marie Grubbs Caudle, 89, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Oklahoma Grubbs and Grace Marie Stricker Grubbs. Mrs. Caudle retired from Hanes Hosiery/ Sara Lee with 54 years of services and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. In addition to her parents and a brother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William Clayton Caudle. Mrs. Caudle is survived by a daughter, Kay Chunn and husband Larry of Winston-Salem, four grandchildren, Debbie Motsinger and husband Jerry of Yadkinville, Jeff Chunn and wife Robin of Rural Hall, Randy Chunn and wife Molly of Rural Hall and Christie Lambert and husband Steve of King, nine great-grandchildren, Ashley, Kasey, Brandon, Josh, Taylor, Katie, Dalton, Avery and Jake and three cousins, Lucille Bowman, Madeline Allen and Paul Stockton. Mrs. Caudle is also survived by her special family in Farmville, VA, Billy, Rochia, Sidney, Glen, Cindy and Jena Allen. Other special family friends include, Sharon Grubbs and husband Dickie of East Bend and her neighbors, Virginia and Dennis. Funeral services for Mrs. Caudle will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Don Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends from 7-9 this evening April 25, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
