Glenn William Hill Sr.

WINSTON-SALEM-Mr. Glenn William Hill, Sr. 72, died Friday, June 17, 2011, at The Lutheran Home in Winston-Salem. Glenn was born September 15, 1938, in Rockingham Co. to the late Glenn and Febie Moorefield Hill. Mr. Hill retired from Industrial Piping. Co. after many years of service and was a member of Kerwin Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his son, Glenn Hill, Jr. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Kathleen G. Hill, of the home; three daughters, Peggy Stultz, of Winston-Salem, Mary Ann Holland (Mark), of Belews Creek, and Diane Hill, of Belews Creek; two sons, Paul William Hill (April), of Belews Creek and John Dee Hill, of Winston-Salem; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2011, at Kerwin Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Myers, Rev. Daniel Hawtree and Rev. Ron Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
