Glenn Cory Dunlap

Glenn Cory Dunlap, 56, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at his residence in Belews Creek, NC.

Glenn was born to Jack Clayton and Sue Neal Dunlap on May 19, 1967 who preceded him in death. He was the last child born to Jack and Sue and was spoiled immensely by his four older siblings and his Grandma Neal.

Glenn was a kind and sweet soul who had many friends and so loved by all. He was employed for over 20 years by Leinbach Machinery and he greatly admired and thought the world of “Mr. Leinbach”.  Glenn was also employed by Winston Tractor.  He enjoyed his job and meeting and talking with all the customers in both businesses.

Following in our Daddy’s footsteps, Glenn was a great woodworker and enjoyed creating beautiful items for family and friends.

Left behind to cherish our brother’s memory are his daughter, Courtney Martin and her husband Michael, his son, Matthew Dunlap, his four siblings Danette Lyles and husband Jerry, Marla Parham and husband Bud, Stan Dunlap and wife Penny and Melissa Robertson and husband Jimmy. Glenn is also survived by his two grandchildren, Carter and Kayden, his niece Shea Rice and husband Jason, his great-nephew Spencer Calloway and his great niece-and nephew, Alana and Kamden Rice.

Glenn was a member of Antioch Church, 6080 Belews Creek Road, Belews Creek, NC 27009 where his celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, October 1st at 3:00 pm. Burial will be in the church cemetery immediately following the service.

Friends and family may visit with Glenn’s family in the church fellowship hall after the graveside committal.  Memorials may be made to Antioch Church, PO Box 10, Belews Creek, NC 27009.

Glenn Cory will forever be in our hearts.  We love you little brother.
