Glenn Richard Chamberlin

Glenn Richard Chamberlin was called home on July 15, 2024. He was born on June 16, 1960, to the late Richard and Joan Chamberlin. He was an alumnus of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. He enjoyed a long career as an IT professional until his retirement in 2022.

Glenn was an Eagle Scout and an avid Scouter and supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. He volunteered his time and talents through a number of positions including Assistant Scoutmaster, Cubmaster, and Wood Badge Instructor. Glenn assisted both of his sons in obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout and walked proudly alongside of them through their scouting careers.

Glenn found great fulfillment in Freemasonry. He held membership in Winston Lodge No. 167 and West Bend Lodge No. 434. He served as master of Forsyth Lodge No. 707 in 2021 and was also a member of Winston-Salem Scottish Rite.

Glenn was a lifelong learner and above all enjoyed helping people.

He is survived by two sons, Stuart (Kara) and Taylor; grandson, Harrison; brothers, Rex (Sue) and Kevin (Michael); niece, Amy; and former spouse, Martha.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at Lewisville United Methodist Church in Lewisville, NC, on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 3:00PM.
