Glenda Faye Hauser

Miss Glenda Faye Hauser, 62, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Glenda was born March 22, 1953 to the late William Arthur Hauser, Jr. and Myrtle Hawks Hauser in Forsyth County. She graduated from Central High School in 1972. For many years, she sold Avon and W.T. Rawleigh products with her mother and attended Woodland Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by her brother, William Donald Hauser.

Glenda is survived by her sister, Linda Swicegood and husband Ronnie; nephew, David Corbin Russell; niece, Tracy Lynn Hauser; grandnephew, Hunter Russell; and great friends, Barbara Russell, Wanda Michael, and Lisa Perry.

A celebration of Glenda's life will be held Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11 am at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service from 10 - 11 am. Interment will follow the service at Flat Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Cana, VA.

The family would like to extend a special thank you for the care shown to Glenda by the staff of Acute Palliative Care at Forsyth Medical Center and Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
