Glenda Dion

Mrs. Glenda Gail Whitaker Dion, 79, of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Glenda was born in Forsyth County to the late James Whitaker and Mildred Hester Whitaker on June 18, 1942. Glenda enjoyed traveling, shopping, and staying on the go. She loved her family and was centered on them.  Glenda also was a very kind and giving person. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerard Dion; sister, Lona Whitaker and brother, Patrick Whitaker. Glenda is survived by her children, James Dion (Ronda); Terrina Moore (Ricky) and Andrea Dion; grandchildren, Stephanie, Steven, Jessica, Justus, Hailey, Devin, Tayler, Lindsey, Ashley, and Rylan; seven, great grandchildren; brother, Michael Whitaker. A private graveside service will be held with Pastor James Whittington officiating.
