Gladys Sharp Walker

Gladys Sharp Walker passed away at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home Wednesday afternoon December 21, 2011. She was born on September 10, 1919 in Forsyth County to the late John Davis and Edith Spainhour Sharp. Gladys was a member at Marvin United Methodist Church and the circle of Marvin United Methodist Church. She was retired from the Veterans Administration. She was preceded in death by husband Raymond Odell Walker; three sisters Ruth Ketner, Frances Johnston, and Lois Stone; three brothers Davis, William, and Kenneth Sharp. Gladys is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday December 23, 2011 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Forsyth Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Marvin United Methodist Church 4401 Indiana Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
