Gladys Tate Moore

Mrs. Gladys Tate Moore, 95, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at Brian Center Health and Rehab. She was born October 12, 1915 in Forsyth County to Ernest and Effie Mae Randleman Tate. She was employed by Forsyth Memorial Hospital where she retired from the maternity unit. She was the oldest living member of New Hope Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Albert Moore; a son, Albert Ray Moore; and a grandson, Dennis Lee Moore. She is survived by her son, Henry Lee Moore and Fiancé Lynn Allen; four grandchildren, Randy Moore, Butch Moore, Tim Moore, and Stacey Moore Wolf; 8 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; cousin Coy Willard. A celebration of her life will be held by the family.
