Gladys Stiller Johnson

Winston-SalemMs. Gladys Stiller Johnson, 84, passed away Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born April 10, 1928 to the late Joseph and Ann Hearata Stiller. Ms. Johnson was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and volunteered at Speas Elementary School for many years. She enjoyed reading, sitting outside in the sunshine, and cooking. Preceding her in death were a great-grandson, Ethan Johnson and two brothers and one sister. Surviving are four children, Danny Johnson, Kathy Reavis (Mike), Anne Fulp, and David Johnson (Teressa); six grandchildren, Stacy Johnson (Matt), Matthew Fulp (Charity), Michael Fulp, Ashley Cheeks (Brandon), Justin Johnson (Kim), and Katlin Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Aubree Fulp, Chloee Fulp, and Parker Johnson; also surviving are two step-great-grandchildren, Terry and Prudence Johnson. A memorial mass will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 15, 2012 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with Father Brian Cook officiating. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Center, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
