Ginny Hall Roberts

ROBERTS - WINSTON-SALEM Ginny Hall Roberts spread her angel wings and went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2013 at her family residence with her family around her. She was born in Forsyth County, NC on December 17, 1948 to Virginia C. and Jesse Daniel Hall. She married Greg Roberts and spent her life in Forsyth County. Mrs. Roberts was employed by Sara Lee Corporation, National Textiles, and Hanesbrands, Inc. for many years of her work career, but spent the last few years just being ""Gigi"" to her beloved grandson, Keegan. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a beloved sister-in-law, Sherri E. Roberts-Biallas. Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband Greg; her mother Virginia; daughter, Jadie Wilson-Solomon (Reshaun); son, John Simmons; grandson, Keegan; and a granddaughter on the way. In addition, she is also survived by sisters: Joy Garwood (Frankie), Selwyn Matthews and Cindy Simmons (Keith); and brother-in-law, James Matthews; a special niece, Shawn Carpenter; nephews: Daniel Simmons, Jay Matthews, Michael Matthews, Ian Biallas and Ryan Biallas; and two special cousins, Pennie Fletcher and Dale Moorefield. A celebration of her life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 18th at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel, 305 Bethania-Rural Hall Road, Rural Hall, NC 27045 with the Reverend Cecil Cave officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Grateful thanks are extended to her hospice nurse Beth Smith.
