Gina Jessup Needham

Mrs. Gina Jessup Needham of Pilot Mountain, 56, passed away on the evening of Saturday March 30, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born July 21, 1967, in Forsyth County to Carol Smith Jessup and the late Bobby Wayne Jessup. Gina was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church and was the president of the East Surry Highschool class of 1985. She returned to nursing school to honor her father who was diagnosed with cancer and would work in the profession as long as she could. Gina was a loving Mother and extremely devoted to her family. In addition to her mother, left to cherish her memory are her son, Oscar M. Needham IV; a brother Bobby Wayne Jessup Jr; and her beloved cat, Tucker. A private graveside service will be held at Brims Grove Baptist Church . The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Karin Giordano of Novant Health Cancer Institute and Dr. Kim of Chapel Hill and their teams for the love, support, and care shown to Gina during her time of need. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Novant Health Cancer Institute at Forsyth Medical Center, 1010 Bethesda Court, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
