Gilbert Mullis

Mr. Gilbert Dean Mullis, 75, passed away Saturday July 24, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County on September 28th, 1945, to the late Joseph Webster and Thelma Wooten Mullis. He is survived by his wife, Anita Mullis, son, Kevin Mullis and fiancée Jana Smith, one sister, Betty Mullis and a brother, Bobby Garner. A visitation will be held 4:00-6:00 PM Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to "Wake Forest University Deacon Club."
