Ghassan Wakim

Mr. Ghassan Ibrahim Wakim, 70, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at Accordius Health at Clemmons. He was born in Lebanon on February 22, 1947 the son of the late Ibrahim Hanna Wakim and Mounira Kinaan Wakim. Mr. Wakim was a true believer in Jesus Christ and served him as a member and deacon of Friendly Arabic Church in Kernersville. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, who will be missed deeply by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Siham Wakim and a brother, Tony Wakim. He is survived by his wife, Elham Wakim; three daughters, Rania Wakim (Ziad), Dolly Daniel (Elias) and Ghazal Lokas (Karim); a son, Ibrahim Wakim (Jennifer); nine grandchildren; three sisters, Daad Bousaba, Samia Wakim and Sue Matta; and several nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Reynolda Presbyterian Church with Pastor Salim Andraos officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 Friday, January 19, 2018 and also, 3:00-7:00 Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the home of Mr. Wakim's daughter at 3515 Meadow Glen Court, Clemmons, NC 27012.
