Gertrude Rachel Warner

KERNERSVILLE-Gertrude Rachel Warner, 93, passed away Thursday, September 09, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born May 18, 1917 in Schoharie Co., NY to the late Floyd and Lydia Mackey Hallenbeck. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Warner Surviving are her son, Peter G. Warner and wife, Janet; two grandchildren, Peter M. Warner and wife, Debbie of Austin, TX and Tara S. Kercheval and husband, Jason of Kernersville; four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Warner, Matthew Warner, Reagan Kercheval, and Deborah Anne Warner; two sisters, Dorothy Van Natten and Margetta Stevens. A private graveside service will be conducted on Monday, September 13, 2010. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative CareCenter, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
