Gertrud Kochenburger 'Trudy' Haines

Mrs. Gertrud Kochenburger ""Trudy"" Haines, 81, of Winston-Salem, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 at Kate B Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born March 18, 1930 in Erzweiler, Germany to Jean Kochenburger and Elisabeth Krauss. She was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church and the youngest of 9 children. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband; Robert Lee Haines, one daughter Carola Klem and husband Jeff of Fountain Hills, AZ, one granddaughter Natalie Mabe, one sister and many special friends. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Hospice and Palliative Care Center for giving her so much comfort in her last days with us. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.A memorial service will be held at a later date.
