Geraldine Gardner Cox

Mrs. Geraldine Gardner Cox 73, of Winston-Salem passed away March 16, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born August 7, 1937 in Forsyth County to the late Beecher Gardner and Hassie Camilla Smith Gardner. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Hilda Gardner and Carolyn Cavanaugh and one brother Jack Gardner. Mrs. Cox was a lifetime member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ. She retired from Stroh's Brewery with 25 years of service. Mrs. Cox hobby was reading the bible and she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Richard ""Dick"" Cox of the home, one daughter Sherri Cisco and husband Vonn of Wallburg, two sons; Mike Cox and wife Dena and Marty Cox and wife Cindi of Davidson County, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Bethlehem United Church of Christ with the Rev.
