Geraldine "Jerri" C. Cox

Mrs. Geraldine ""Jerri"" Chapman Cox passed away peacefully Friday, November 6, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Jerri was born in Stokes County to William and Gillie Chapman. She was a member of Ardmore Moravian Church and retired from Lucent Technologies after 33 years of service. Jerri was known for her beautiful smile, and had a passion for caring for her friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Frazier and sister, Hallie Moran.

Jerri is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Geroy Cox; devoted daughter, Marsha ""Deannie"" Martin and husband Alan of Kernersville; her grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Meridith Martin, Jeanna Martin, Aubrey Frazier Sigmon (Daniel), Laura Frazier Wilson (Aaron), and Adam Frazier; great-grandchildren, Daniel and Victoria Sigmon; and nieces and nephews, Carol Ameigh, Tim Hartsoe, Lisa Kota, and Bradley Hartsoe and their families.

A celebration of Jerri's life will be held Monday, November 9, 2015 at 2 pm at Ardmore Moravian Church, 2013 W Academy Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
