Geraldine 'Gerri' Pardue Caudle

Beloved by all who knew her, Geraldine ""Gerri"" Pardue Caudle, 73, of Winston-Salem, passed away on January 14, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on June 14, 1939 in Yadkin County, the only daughter of D. Herman Pardue and Beulah Hall Pardue. Gerri graduated from West Yadkin High School in 1957. At 17, she began her bookkeeping career at McLean Trucking Company and continued at General Supply Company, Forsyth County Clerk of Courts office and Bruce Hall and Company. She then became Vice President of Human Resources at Crown Drugs. After the sale of Crown Drugs, she worked as payroll administrator for Raffles Hair Salons until her retirement in 2011. She was an avid reader and bowled with several leagues at Northside Lanes. Gerri enjoyed traveling with ""The Ladies"" and spending time with her cherished friends and family. She was a wonderful cook and took great pleasure in feeding everyone. Gerri was preceded in death by her husband, Dickie Dale Caudle in 2003, and by her brothers, Carlie Pardue and Bill Pardue. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Connie C. Yokeley and husband Robert of Wallburg, and Karla C. Kinney and husband Richard of Welcome; granddaughters Rheannon Yokeley Chalfa and husband Stephen, and Kellen Graye Yokeley, all of Winston-Salem; grandson R. Garrison Kinney of Welcome; and great grandson Gabriel Robert Chalfa, of Winston-Salem; brothers Olin Pardue of Mocksville, Don Pardue and wife, Judy of Harmony; sisters-in-law Lois Pardue of Hamptonville, Lou Pardue of Lone Hickory, Rita Toivonen and husband, Dennis of Waltham, MA, Sybrilla Cashion of Greensboro, Kay Mansfield and husband, Ray of Winston-Salem, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Calvary West Campus, 155 Commerce Drive, Advance, NC 27006. The family will receive friends following the service.
