Georgie Clark Boaz

BOAZ Ocala, Florida, Mrs. Georgie Clark Boaz, 90, passed away at her home on December 26, 2008. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the First Baptist Church of Ocala. She had been a resident of Ocala for the past 38 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. David C. Boaz in 1991. Surviving is a daughter Susie Atkins of Winston-Salem, two sons Mike Boaz of Winston-Salem and Dave Boaz of Salem, OR, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 1, 2009 at Becks Baptist Church in Winston-Salem with Rev. Denny Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Boaz family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers memorial donations should be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln. Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel is assisting the Boaz family.
