Georgia Anna Myers

On April 18, 2013 Heaven received a precious angel. Born on December 10, 1931, Mrs. Georgia Anna Honeycutt Myers went home to be with her Lord. In attendance were her husband of 55 years, A. C. Myers, Jr.; her children, Anthony (Tony) Myers and Melessa (Lesa) Johnston. In addition she leaves a loving family including her daughter-in-law, Tamara Myers; her grandsons, Justin Myers (Shawnise), Clayton Myers (Dana); her granddaughter, Brittany Johnston; her great-grandchildren, Evan, Madelyn, James, and McKenzie; her brother, Bobby Joe Hill (Lucille) of Columbus, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends. She will be sincerely missed by all who love her. She joins her mother, Bertha Pearson in Heaven. Mrs. Myers was a faithful member of Friedberg Moravian Church where she joyfully served for 18 years. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Friedberg Moravian Church with Rev. G. Thomas Shelton and Rev. James C. Newsome, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the church. The family would like to express their thanks to the 8th floor Palliative Care staff of Forsyth Medical Center for their care, love and support during their time there. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Friedberg Moravian Church Elevator Fund, 2178 Friedberg Church Road, Winston-Salem, NC. 27127. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
