Georgia Beeson Linville

OAK RIDGE - Mrs. Georgia Beeson Linville, 90, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center. Georgia was born on December 30, 1921 in Guilford County to the late Robert Andy and Grace Walker Beeson. Georgia had worked for Oak Ridge Military Academy and Northwest Junior High School in Food Services. She was a life-long member of Union Grove Baptist Church. One of the highlights of her life was her 90th birthday party that she celebrated with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her husband , Kenneth Rahe Linville; an infant daughter, Marsha Lynn; two brothers, Robert Hugh and Virgil Alan Beeson; and one sister, Betty Beeson Perdue. Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Linville Trogdon (husband, Joe) of Madison and Dawn Linville Ring (husband, Jimmy) of Kernersville; one son, Kenny Steven Linville (wife, Julie) of Oak Ridge; three grandchildren, Scott and Wendy Trogdon and Toby Linville (wife, Crystal); and two great grandchildren, Emily and Ethan Trogdon. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, February 27, 2012 at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Dean officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in The Arbor and at other times at the home of Georgia Linville. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
