Georgia Gordon

Georgia Dawn Gordon passed away unexpectedly in her home on September 17, 2021.  Georgia was born on October 10, 1976, in Forsyth County to Dean and Becky Gordon.  She is survived by her parents; two children, Shaffer Danley Ester (Abby) of Siloam, NC and Miana Camilla Steinmeyer of Pinnacle, NC; one brother, Bert Franklin Gordon (Shannon); nephew James Glenn Gordon.  In addition, she is survived by her aunts and uncles, June (J.W.) Bowman of Pilot Mountain, NC and Eugene (Cathey) Gwyn of Nashville, Tn.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Glenn and Edna Gordon, Ellis and Madgoline Gwyn, and one uncle, Allan B. Gwyn.  Georgia was a certified Nursing Assistant who dearly loved the elderly and worked primarily in local nursing homes for over 22 years.  Georgia had a fondness for bacon and would consume a pound or more at any given time.  She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.  A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
