George Smith

George Hackett “Hack” Smith, 85, passed away on Friday March 26, 2021. George was born in Yadkin County on May 10, 1935 to the late Bennet Eli Smith and Winnie Louisa Long. He then moved to Winston Salem where he spent the majority of his adult life. George spent much of his time helping anyone and everyone, but especially loved to work on lawn mowers. He enjoyed fixing everything, and he was known as a “fix it man” to everyone that knew him. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dollie Smith; and his son, Chris Smith.
