George Emory Phelps

Mr. George Emory Phelps, 52, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County on October 11, 1962 to George Wiley and Gail Rominger Phelps. George worked for Sara Lee for 20 years. He was a loving father, son, and brother. Preceding him in death was his father, George W. Phelps. Surviving are two sons, Micah Phelps and Bobby Phelps and his fiancé, Lanie; step-daughter, Anne Bodsford; mother, Gail R. Phelps; sister, Amanda Ramsey and husband, Scott; two brothers, Timothy Phelps and wife, Reka and Kyle Phelps; also surviving is a special aunt, Ethel Dunn and his loving dog, ""Fred."" A funeral service will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at First Christian Church in Clemmons with Minister Eddie Clark officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
