George Cooper Page

George Cooper Page, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Kernersville Medical Center. He was born in Wilson County on June 23, 1933, to the late George Page and Alvarada Cooper Page. George was a sweet and outgoing man. He was very involved in the community and was proud of his membership in the local masonic lodge. He worked as an electronics technician and retired from RJ Reynolds. George was a devoted member of Main Street Baptist Church for over 60 years, and he loved his church family dearly. He was also a proud United States Army veteran, a member of the 82^nd Airborne Division. In his free time, George enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Coleman Page; a daughter, Ann Page Price; as well as two brothers, Gerald Page, and Kennith Page.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, George R. Page; a grandson, Andy Price; a sister, Dorothy Owens; as well as many special nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Gene Lancour officiating. Interment will follow the service at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 6 PM- 8 PM at the funeral home.
