George Edward Eddie" McBride

McBRIDE RURAL HALL, Mr. George Edward ""Eddie"" McBride, Sr., 61, of Church St. passed away Sunday October 18, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Eddie was born in Forsyth County on December 24, 1947 the son of Alma Jean Williams McBride and the late George Washington McBride. Eddie was of the Methodist faith and was a Veteran of the U S Army serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He had worked for Hanesbrands Inc. with 23 years of service. Eddie was a Metal Artist, an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving is two sons Eddie McBride, Jr. and wife Shannon of King and Casey McBride of Rural Hall and his fiancee Yamile Valencia and her children Zion Valencia and Joy Lara, his mother Alma Jean McBride of King, two grandchildren Connor McBride and Gracey McBride, a sister Bonnie Parks and husband Dan of Greensboro, and a very special friend Lynn Rhodes of Rural Hall. The McBride family will receive friends From 6:30 to 8:30 PM Wednesday evening, October 21, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. There is no Funeral Service scheduled.
