George Philip Foster

Mr. George Philip Foster, 76, of Winston-Salem passed away, Saturday, March 17, 2012 at WFU Baptist Medical Center. He was born January 4, 1936 in Forsyth County to George Washington and Pauline Setzer Foster. Mr. Foster was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Foster. Surviving are a son, Joe Foster, of Winston-Salem; a daughter, Margaret Holbrook and husband, Glenn of Lexington; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Salem Cemetery with Rev. Gavin Pratt officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
