Mrs. Genieve Speaks Craft went to be with her Lord on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born February 5, 1928 in Yadkin County to the late John and Mary McCoy Speaks. Mrs. Craft worked for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. with 22 years of service and later volunteered with the W-S Forsyth County Schools. She attended Trinity Friends Church and was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceding her in death was her husband, Gilbert Craft; daughter, Michelle Craft; eight sisters, Reona Myers, Chattie Cass, Ann Moore, Eula Wilkerson, Era Brooks, Rossie Wooten, Flora Hutchens, and Irene Shore; three brothers, Howard, Marshall, and Ralph Speaks. Surviving is a son, Mike Dudley (Bonnie) of Winston-Salem; two daughters, Jill Craft of Winston-Salem and Dawn Williams (Danny) of Walkertown; two grandsons, Matthew Bolden (Amber) and Jason Bolden; one step-granddaughter, Kim Hutcherson (Guy); one great-grandson, Noah Bolden; two step-great-grandchildren, Zachary and Katie Hutcherson; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Forsyth Memorial Park with Pastor Hobert Freeman officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
