Geneva Martin Kannada

Mrs. Geneva Elizabeth Martin Kannada ,70, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Easter morning, April 16, 2017. She was the devoted daughter of Dorothy Elizabeth Martin King and James Pratt Martin, and was born in Corpus Christi, TX on May 16, 1946. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Horace Lee Kannada. She is survived by her brother, Daniel Joseph Martin of Advance, NC, nephew Daniel Pratt Martin, of Virginia Beach, VA, nieces Julie Camardella of Virginia Beach, VA, Cathy Stevens of Texas, and Jamie Michalec of Oklahoma. Geneva lived in Corpus Christi, TX, St. Johns, Newfoundland, Oklahoma City, OK, Biloxi, MS, San Antonio, TX, Fort Smith, AR, Orange City, FL, and Clemmons, NC. She was a executive secretary with The Orlando Sentinel newspaper in Orlando, FL for several years. She devoted over 20 years of her life to the care of our mother and her aunt Geneva in Orange City, FL. until their passing. She was a selfless, but, private lady and we will miss her greatly.
